The Experience Design Awards, (formerly the Experience Design & Technology Awards), recognize outstanding event design, innovative builds and environmental creativity across a wide variety of consumer-targeted and business-to-business event formats. A jury of brand-side judges will review consumer event activations, b-to-b experiences and trade show footprints, and will award winning creative teams with a gold, silver, bronze or “shortlist” award based on overall creative strategy, originality, and how the design and execution ultimately engaged audiences.

Eligibility Rules

The Experiential Design Awards are open to brand marketers, agencies, partners, properties, and suppliers involved in event and experiential marketing campaigns.

  • Categories span both b-to-c and b-to-b experiential marketing.
  • International entries are welcome.
  • Campaigns must have launched or debuted between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024.
  • Entrants may submit as many campaigns into as many categories as they want (easy copy and paste options available!)

Judging Criteria

The Experiential Design Awards are scored entirely by brand-side marketers. In each category, a gold, silver and bronze winner will be selected.

Judges will score all entries on:

  • Creative and relevant idea
  • Succinct and deployable strategy
  • Flawless execution
  • Tangible results
