While the East Coast was busy braving Winter Storm Stella, EM was fortunate enough to be in sunny downtown Austin checking out the interactive portion of this year’s South by Southwest Conference and Festivals (March 10-19). Creatives of all stripes came to the Lone Star state and savvy brands weren’t far behind, offering out-of-box experiences and show-stopping stunts that helped Austin “keep it weird.” Follow along for a taste of the action on the ground, from tech-fueled interactives to, as you’ll see, a gargantuan, smoke-blowing buffalo installation.
