AgencyEA, a Chicago-based brand experience agency, announced today it will present two sessions at the 2016 EventTech conference in Las Vegas. Hosted annually by Event Marketer magazine, the three-day conference covers the latest technologies, the newest trends, the top best practices and biggest case studies in the event and experiential marketing industry. Taking place November 14-16, it is the world’s only conference and exposition exploring how social media and technology optimize live experiences.
“We are thrilled to present with our clients at the industry's top conference focused on event techology, digital trends and social media,” said Gabrielle Martinez, managing partner at agencyEA. “As the digital landscape constantly evolves, we relish the challenge to identify innovative ways to integrate technology and social media into event campaigns and programming.”
AgencyEA is scheduled to present two sessions at EventTech, both on the final day of the conference:
Leveraging NFC Tech for a Non-Tech Crowd
Wednesday, November 16 at 2:45 pm
Presented by Jodi Degyansky, agencyEA and Thomas McShane, City Electric Supply
Technology has opened the doors of communication for attendees at internal and b-to-b events, allowing them to network better, learn from one another and collect content they can bring back to their offices. But when your audience isn’t tech savvy, how do you build a meaningful and useful digital content and engagement strategy? Learn how City Electric Supply leveraged NFC (near-field communication) technology to provide simple and natural touchpoints for attendees, extending the life of its three-day North American Manager’s conference in the process.
The Event Marketer's Guide to High-Tech Educational Experiences
Wednesday, November 16 at 3:30 pm
Presented by Carol Chapman, agencyEA and Linsey Godbey, ComEd
At the end of the day, every event is designed to be a learning experience. Go behind the scenes with ComEd to discover how its IceBox Derby program educates and empowers young women to explore opportunities in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) through hands-on technology interactives. The summer event series challenges teams of 13-18 year old girls to build electric racecars out of recycled refrigerators. From the solar-powered horn and headlights to campaign social media extensions, prototypes to race day challenges, learn how the brand leverages events to build community, humanize its brand story and inspire the next generation of technologists.
