First-look pre-beta of WORLD WAR TOONS VR tournament on Twitch
Seattle, WA, September 2, 2016 – Today, RELOAD STUDIOS and DOUBLE A EVENTS announced that they will be broadcasting an early look at Reload Studios’ upcoming multiplayer shooter game for virtual reality (VR), WORLD WAR TOONS, from the Pax West show in Seattle, Washington, from September 2 through 5.
World War Toons is a first person shooter (FPS) designed for VR. The four-day broadcast will be an opportunity for fans and newcomers to experience hosted game play and contribute their feedback to the open development of the VR game, including controls, movement, and the Free 2 Play model, within the tournament style popular in e-sports competitions.
“We’re going to build in the direction the fans demand,” said James Chung, CEO and founder, Reload Studios. “We’ve got a lot of great ideas to make World War Toons an e-Sports title, but the feedback from our players will help us craft the best experience possible.”
“We’ve now been streaming and posting videos for over a year, and when our game launches on October 13, any newcomers will see that we value our community and have included them in the development process.”
Game play will be broadcast from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Pacific on Twitch.tv/worldwartoons, featuring shoutcasters Lipstick Mafia, Pancakepow, BadNewsBaron, and Alex Corea.
Additionally, for Pax West attendees, a brand new demo build of World War Toons will be available the VR Village area.
The event is being produced by Double A Events.

World War Toons will release in open beta on PS4 and PS4 VR on October 13.
